Manchester team raise £185.73 for local lad!
On the last Friday of September, we got together to support a local family who have recently been hit with some devastating news as their little boy, Tommy, was recently diagnosed with leukaemia.
Tommy's Dad is a self-employed children’s football coach (a very good one too) and his Mum has just started a new job so isn’t eligible for paid leave. They have two other children to support and are taking it in turn to stay by little Tommy's side in hospital whilst he goes through chemotherapy. A GoFundMe has been set up to help support the family financially and allow Tommy's Dad to take some much needed time away from work to be there for his family during this horrendous time.
Our Manchester branch wore their favourite football shirts and made a donation to this worthy cause. Thank you for being so amazing and raising £185.73!!
