There’s nothing like cake to bring people together. Last Thursday (17/06) we celebrate Alzheimer’s Society’s Cupcake Day and helped raise vital funds to support people affected by dementia.
Along with a generous donation from local company Cheesecake by Sarah, our team baked and bought cakes to be enjoyed on the day! With a voluntary contribution for each cake going towards the Alzheimer’s Society.
How Cupcake Day helps
Living with dementia bring challenges at the best of times, but coronavirus has made daily life the much harder.
The Alzheimer’s Society lifeline support services are there for people affected by dementia during this crisis and continue to be as the coronavirus pandemic endures.
Thanks to the efforts of brilliant fundraisers, thousands of people living with dementia and their families can rely on Alzheimer’s Society for support, care and guidance.
Our fantastic team raised an incredible £80.00 on the day, all going towards this fantastic cause!
