The Apprenticeship
To protect people, homes, and property from risk and danger, our apprentices will learn how to design, install, commission, and maintain electronic systems in and outside simple and complex premises. The fire, security and emergency systems detect entry, offer surveillance, monitor and regulate access to buildings, properties, and locations.
Our Fire, Emergency, and Security Systems Engineer must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, use their knowledge and skills to ensure that systems have been properly chosen, installed, and maintained in accordance with professional industry standards, frequently without supervision, and have been done so in a way that is safe, effective, and economical to minimize waste. While also attending classes at Skills for Security, all of our apprentices will work side by side with our electricians to get invaluable on-site experience.
