We are thrilled to share our latest project with you. For the past six months, we have had the privilege of working as contractors for Emanuel Whittaker Ltd. During this time, our team has been dedicated to completing first and second fix installations for over 80 bathrooms and kitchens in the beautiful towns of Rossendale and Todmorden.
Bathrooms
Our team played a crucial role in the successful completion of the bathroom renovations project. During the first fix stage, our team conducted an Electrical Installation Condition Report, installed a shower circuit with 10.0mm cable, and strategically placed LD2 smoke detection devices. We also replaced outdated or expiring smoke/heat detectors and core-drilled for extractor fans if necessary. In the second fix stage, we replaced the main consumer unit, updated bathroom wiring accessories, and installed showers, fans, and light fittings. Our meticulous attention to detail ensures a seamless and functional bathroom space.
Kitchens
During the program, our team successfully completed various tasks related to the kitchen installation. We began by conducting an Electrical Installation Condition Report and addressing any necessary remedial works to ensure the electrical system's safety and compliance. This was followed by the installation of a dedicated kitchen ring main to provide efficient power distribution. We also implemented a comprehensive smoke detection system, strategically placing detectors in key areas such as the living room, kitchen, hallway, and landings. Additionally, we replaced outdated or expiring smoke/heat detectors and installed additional detection in the loft and at the inverter location for projects with solar PV. To facilitate proper ventilation, we core-drilled for extractor fan placement if required. Furthermore, we replaced the main consumer unit and updated the wiring accessories, completing the second fix phase for a polished finish.
Lead Electrician
Our electrician Dillan, played a pivotal role in the successful execution of this programme. With a remarkable journey that began as an apprentice at Barlows (UK) Ltd at the age of 16, Dillan has grown to become the lead electrician on this programme. His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in delivering exceptional results.
